7-week program

For young children (0-5 years)

Together with their mothers, children learn the basics of eating, moving and communicating. Parents receive guidance and learn to accept their child and support their development.

Information about the program

In the 7-week program, young children with disabilities are given the opportunity to work together towards a better future. During the intensive program, they stay at the center during the week, where they receive guidance from professional therapists in the areas of nutrition, therapy and development. Children often make great progress in movement and communication, while mothers learn how to support their child independently. In addition, the program offers space to exchange experiences with other mothers, so that no one is alone. After the program, the Outreach Team supports the children at home.

As a physiotherapist, you are working with the children all day. I can contribute to them leading a happy and independent life. My day is good when I see that they can take steps in their development, for example when the little children can move their neck or body better. This is very normal for all of us, but for children with disabilities this is a milestone. Of course, things don’t always go smoothly, it is not always easy to motivate the parents at home to get started with the exercises, which is really very important for the development of the child.
