Day treatment

Once a month from their own village

Each year, we support roughly just under a thousand children at our center. Most of these children have previously taken part in our 7-week program.

Information about the program

Children in day treatment now come to the center once a month from their village for specialized therapy. Each child receives a personalized therapy plan tailored to their needs, such as physiotherapy and/or nutrition. This way, we stay in touch with parents and can monitor the children’s development. After the day treatment plan, we may continue to follow the children through the outreach program for home-based therapy.

“In early 2024, I came to the Sibusiso Center with my 1-year-old son, Precious Paul, because he was born with cerebral palsy and therefore grew very little. Precious has difficulty sitting, standing, walking, and eating independently. He could not take more than two spoonfuls of food. I received excellent guidance on the right nutrition for Precious Paul. I am very satisfied with his progress. He now moves better and is very alert. But I am especially happy that Precious eats better and can swallow more easily. I am very grateful for the help I receive from the Sibusiso Center. I can see a future for my son again.”
